We’re excited to find the right product manager to join us. We are looking for an individual who is proactive, resourceful, creative, enthusiastic, optimistic, and passionate about products in the household goods category. As our Product Manager, you would be our all-around product and support expert, working with teams across the organization globally.
This role best suits someone who demonstrates strong general technical skills in household products, an ability to identify market opportunities for product line expansion, a love for gathering data and facts to formulate conclusions and recommendations, a basic knowledge of manufacturing and sourcing, and enthusiasm in working with the product development and management teams.
●Research the market to determine and identify new leads and potential new markets
●Be knowledgeable and provide feedback on products, competitive information, and technology trends
●Work and collaborate across multiple departments to optimize business strategy around customer and market needs
●Communicate and coordinate with our international offices to ensure products are developed, delivered, and enhanced to meet market needs
●Compare and evaluate competitor products and suggest product development and suggesting and coordinate must-have product credentials, communications, and tangible assets
●Assist in the creation of educational materials such as user manual, quick start guide, technical video scripts, process flow charts, training materials, etc.
●Stay up-to-date with product launch checklists by keeping track of product development, accreditations/certifications, and fact-checking printed and digital marketing materials
●Be the go-to person for all product-related inquiries
●Own product issues from detection to resolution; troubleshoot independently, prioritize, and interface with Development team to problem-solve
●Provide training and product demonstrations to internal departments
●Collaborate with Development team on product enhancements/customer requests
●Attend and represent the company at trade shows and local events
●Bachelor’s degree in Consumer Behavior/Consumer Psychology/Social Sciences or related fields
●Mechanical/electrical engineering background or knowledge is a plus
●Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
●Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
●Proficiency with MS Office applications, with advanced skills in MS Excel
●Ability to look at problems from multiple perspectives and formulate a theory before execution
●Solid presentation and interpersonal skills
●Must be highly self-motivated, with a high level of proactiveness and the ability to multitask
●Bilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin) is a plus
