Staff Accountant

Accounting Anaheim, CA

Job Overview

This position will perform accounting and financial transactions as needed while collaborating with other departments to ensure that the financial plan and message is fully integrated throughout the company. The right individual will be an analytically-minded accounting professional who is passionate about using all aspects of education and experience in accounting and business to be successful.

Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting with accounting functions (AP & AR) including, but not limited to, financial reporting and the reporting of the business’ financial operations. Staff Accountant will assist with month-end and year-end close process, accruals, bank reconciliations, audit prep, manage accounts payable and accounts receivable and assist with postings to the general ledger.


  • Prepare accounting related entries to numerous registers, journals and logs

  • Reviewing journal entries of accounting staff to ensure accuracy

  • Regularly maintain detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts

  • Provide detailed analyses and explanations of all transactions

  • Prepare documentation for external auditors

  • Produce error free accounting reports

  • Help lead month-end and year-end close process

  • Ensure compliance with GAAP principles

  • Support accounts payable activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness of invoice creation, entry and pay. 

  • Summarizes receivables by maintaining invoice accounts; coordinating monthly transfer to accounts receivable account; verifying totals; preparing report.

  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.

  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.

  • Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.


  • Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting

  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft suites 

  • Organized with the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment

  • Excellent communication skills 

  • Analytical approach to problem solving and ability to think outside the box

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

  • Must be able to meet monthly deadlines

  • Bilingual in Mandarin
