Hope for Haiti

by Etekcity, 10/24/16

On October 4, 2016, Hurricane Matthew, a Category 4 storm, devastated many Haitian communities, leaving many without homes, basic medical supplies, nutrition, access to clean water, and it has hindered transportation in the areas most hit by the hurricane.

Today, our team gathered some of the needed supplies listed requested by Hope for Haiti
a non-profit organization that has directly served Haitian communities for over 25 years.

We’re donating boxes of the following products:

Water filter straws -More than 1 million people require assistance since Hurricane Matthew made landfall in the Caribbean country earlier this month. Haiti is in dire need of access to clean water and hygiene kits to stop the spread of cholera and other illnesses. We are donating our portable water filter straws which includes a pre-filter to eliminate 99.9% of waterborne pathogens and bacteria.

Ultra bright portable LED camping lanterns- As requested by the Hope for Haiti team in their supplies list, we are donating our portable camping LED lanterns with a power bank and batteries included. Constructed with military grade and 30 LED bulbs , we hope this will provide luminous light for emergency and volunteer personnel during this time.

Rechargeable USB solar camping lanterns -We understand batteries are also scarce at this time. We are donating our portable rechargeable USB and solar lantern for a safe alternative for volunteers to assist patients and children in the dark.

We hope our products provide the Hope for Haiti organization with the necessary tools to better assist relief efforts in Haiti. We’re inspired by the direct work done by this organization
as they actively seek ways to provide communities and children with tools for a better future and quality of life.

We are committed in providing Hope for Haiti with further resources in the future, too, so that we can come together and work as a team to solve challenges that arise for communities in Haiti. If you would like to help or donate, you can check out the supplies needed right now here. For more, you can visit www.hopeforhaiti.com.

We’re thrilled to work with a supportive team. We thank everyone at Etekcity for their work and involvement to make this donation happen. We are constantly seeking opportunities to donate our products or services as our way of giving back to the world. We send out our love, support, and thoughts to those affected by Hurricane Matthew.
